This week, crews will continue sidewalk and landscaping work on Valley Street between Fairview Avenue North and Ninth Avenue North. Construction will also continue on the north side of Mercer Street between Fifth Avenue North and Dexter Avenue North and the east side of SR 99 between Valley and Harrison streets.

Activities this week include:

  • Begin nighttime single lane closures on  the I-5 on- and off-ramps at Mercer Street from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. for approximately one week:
    • The far left lane on eastbound Mercer Street will be closed between Boren Avenue North and onto the I-5 on-ramps at Mercer Street. Two lanes onto the I-5 on-ramps will remain open at all times.
    • The far left turn lane from the I-5 off-ramps at Mercer Street onto Fairview Avenue North will be closed. One left turn lane onto Fairview Avenue North and all three through lanes onto westbound Mercer Street will remain open at all times.
