If you’re heading downtown to shop and celebrate the Holidays in Seattle, there are lots of ways to find available parking. A recent Seattle Times article featured helpful downtown parking tips, including how to pay-by-phone for on-street parking and how to find affordable off-street parking in Pioneer Square and on the waterfront. Street parking spaces in these areas are being impacted by Alaskan Way Viaduct and Seawall construction, but there’s still plenty of parking available in garages and lots.

Looking to find parking fast?  e-Park (the city’s electronic parking guidance system – say that three times fast!) currently provides real-time parking information for eight downtown parking garages.  You can find out if there‘s a space for you by looking for a dynamic sign as you enter downtown or by visiting www.seattle.gov/eparkmobile

It just got easier to find fast parking on the north waterfront and in Pioneer Square!  Real-time parking information is now available for the Bell Street Pier garage at 9 Wall Street and the 1st & Columbia Garage at 721 First Avenue in Pioneer Square.  More signs and garages will join e-Park in 2014. Stay tuned and have a safe and happy holiday season!
