For the next week, starting tomorrow at 7 AM, crews pull up temporary asphalt sidewalk along Fauntleroy Way SW at Fairmount Park and install longer-lasting concrete. It’s phase 2 of a 2016 project that replaced damaged sidewalk with concrete on one end, and lower cost asphalt on the other due to budget constraints and the need to complete other safety projects.

Parking lane and bike lane on the east side of Fauntleroy Way SW closed.

West side sidewalk and vehicle travel lanes remain open.

The west side of the 3rd Ave/Columbia intersection has newly completed curb ramps (compare to above photo for before/after experience). Due to complex signal work, the project has a new anticipated completion date of July 16, 2018

S side of Columbia St: one WB travel lane and parking lane are closed.
