If you were unable to attend one of the First Hill Streetcar open houses earlier this month, you can still provide feedback online. I would request that you go with the Broadway alignment. Please do not go with the 12th avenue couplet. It gives both neighborhoods terrible service. The Broadway alignment combines high pedestrian access and a quick direct route.

I’d really like to see the Streetcar get signal priority. It could be a lot faster, and it would garner more ridership for that speed – not to mention allowing more frequency with the same operating costs.
Thanks for your comment! We will definitely accept blog posts as comments. We are planning to look for opportunities to give the streetcar transit priority along the First Hill line. This analysis will be part of the next steps as we advance concept design and then will be more fully developed in preliminary engineering.
