Emergency repairs to the University Bridge – tonight.
We’re making emergency repairs tonight on the center lock of the University Bridge. Repairs will be made starting tonight at 11 PM until 7 AM Tuesday, March 19. We do not anticipate any traffic impacts or closures.
The University Bridge was built in 1919 and is a 217-foot, double-leaf bascule bridge that carries travelers over Portage Bay between Eastlake and the Unversity District.
