Work on the Duwamish Trail along West Marginal Way is expected to wrap up this week. Crews fixed a portion of the trail that had been damaged by giant tree roots.
Pedestrians and bicyclists are being detoured temporarily from the trail onto West Marginal Way SW. But soon, everyone will be back to enjoying the scenic route. The path provides a unique mix of natural oasis within an urban area and a chance to see some of Seattle’s industry up close. If you haven’t ridden it before, try taking a spin on the newly smoothed asphalt next week!
