The overpass will be a new structure over Elliott Avenue West and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) railroad tracks to Myrtle Edwards Park .  It will also connect a future pedestrian route, the Lake Bay Loop, from South Lake Union and the Seattle Center (where bikes can be walked through the campus), with the bicycle trail in Myrtle Edwards Park. The $10 million project is funded by Park Levy I and II, grant funds from the Puget Sound Regional Council and King County and private donations.
