Mercer Corridor Project (East Phase) – Weekly Construction Preview

As construction continues on the east phase of the Mercer Corridor Project, the SDOT blog will provide weekly snapshots of upcoming and completed work each week. This week, the crews will primarily focus on continued underground utility work. • Installation of water lines on Valley Street
  • Installation of a Seattle City Light Transmission Tower near Fairview and Valley
  • Installing and preparing electrical vaults for new electrical conduit on Fairview Avenue
  • Installing new electrical infrastructure along the Mercer Street medians which will involve a single lane closure on eastbound Mercer daily between 9 a.m.  and 3 p.m.
