Delridge Open House Tuesday, October 2 – See you there!

In a project beginning January 2013, Delridge Way SW between SW Orchard and SW Henderson streets will be substantially rebuilt – with a new stormwater facilities below the roadway, upgraded curb ramps and more.  Plus, if funds can be stretched that far, crews may also repave Delridge Way SW and 16th Avenue SW, both between SW Henderson St and SW Roxbury St.  If you live, work or otherwise travel these roadways, you may want to join us for a Delridge Way SW Paving Project Open House:

Tuesday, October 2, 2012
5:30 – 7:30 p.m.*
Chief Sealth High School
2600 SW Thistle Street
Learning Resource Center

*stop by anytime to speak with project staff!

We’ll have the project manager, paving program manager and other staff members on hand to answer questions about the project; safety improvements; SDOT’s neighborhood traffic calming program; etc!  The project is entirely funded by Bridging the Gap, which is prioritized to address such maintenance back logs as the very dilapidated Delridge arterial.
