Weekly Construction Wrap-Up

on This week, crews continued to focus on pavement removal and grading on the west side of Fairview Avenue N between Mercer Street and Harrison Street and signal pole and mast arm installation on eastbound Mercer Street.
Activities this week included:
- Continued underground water main work on Valley Street and Terry Avenue N.
- Continued signal pole and mast arm installation at the intersection of Fairview Avenue N and Mercer Street.
- Began pavement removal between Valley Street and Mercer Street and continued pavement removal and grading on west side of Fairview Avenue N between Mercer Street and Harrison Street and in preparation for rebuilding the roadway.
- Began installing concrete pavement on west side of Fairview Avenue N between Mercer Street and Harrison Street.
- Continued catch basin installation on Roy Street in preparation for rebuilding sections of the roadway.
- Continued Seattle City Light duck bank work on Fairview Avenue N between Mercer Street and Valley Street.
Traffic engineers will continue to:
- Monitor traffic flow on Mercer Street.
- Monitor traffic flow at the Dexter Avenue N and Mercer Street intersection.
