Fairview paving looking good!
This week, crews continued to focus on concrete pavement on the west side of Fairview Avenue N between Mercer Street and Harrison Street and underground electrical work on Fairview Avenue N and Valley Street.
Activities this week included:
- Continued pavement removal and grading on Fairview Avenue N between Valley Street and Mercer Street in preparation for rebuilding the roadway.
- Continued concrete pavement installation on west side of Fairview Avenue N between Mercer Street and Harrison Street.
- Continued Seattle City Light electrical duck bank work on Fairview Avenue N between Mercer Street and Valley Street.
- Continued conduit and handhole installation for future street lights on west sides of Fairview Avenue N between Mercer Street and Harrison Street.
- Street lights were installed on Fairview Avenue N between Valley Street and Mercer Street.
Traffic engineers will continue to:
- Monitor traffic flow on Mercer Street.
- Monitor traffic flow at the Dexter Avenue N and Mercer Street intersection.
