This week, crews will focus on completing sidewalk work on Fairview Avenue N between Valley Street and Republican Street as well as underground utility work on Valley Street.
Activities this week include:
- Begin electrical vault installation on Broad St. between 9th Ave. N and Westlake Ave. N.
- Perform grinding on the inside left-turn lane on I-5 off-ramps onto southbound Fairview Ave. N from 9 am to 11 am on Wednesday, March 13.
- Continue sidewalk installation on Fairview Avenue N between Valley Street and Republican Street.
- Continue Seattle City Light duct bank work on Valley Street.
- Continue stormwater catchbasin connections on Valley Street.
- Continue communications duct bank work on Valley Street.
- Continue cast in place wall installation on the north side of the I-5 off-ramps.
Traffic engineers will continue to:
- Monitor traffic flow on Mercer Street and newly re-opened Fairview Ave. N.
- Monitor traffic flow at the Dexter Avenue N and Mercer Street intersection.
