Mike Estey receives the award for the IPMI Parking Professional of the Year
Mike Estey, our Parking Programs Manager, was recognized last Wednesday for his many accomplishments at the International Parking and Mobility Institute’s (IMPI)’s 2019 IPMI Conference & Expo in Anaheim, CA.
Mike was named James M. Hunnicut Parking Professional of the Year, which is a huge honor!
Mike has been working at SDOT for nearly 20 years and has most recently focused his substantial energies on developing innovative parking programs for the city. Mike has led notable projects including Performance-Based Parking Pricing and Pay-By-Phone.
As Mike shared in his remarks at the conference, he believes this award is really a tribute to the many accomplishments of his team of outstanding parking professionals, and expressed his honor and pride in leading them.
