Torchlight Parade and Run – Saturday, July 27

The Torchlight Parade and Run are on Saturday, July 27! Here are details on the event. Please plan accordingly.

Floats will start staging on the eastbound lanes of Mercer St. (1^st Ave. N. to 5^th Ave. N.) after 8 AM.  Westbound lanes will remain open at all times.  When Seattle Police Department (SPD)  deems necessary, eastbound Mercer will be detoured to Roy St.

Beginning at 4 PM, floats will move onto the southbound lanes of 5^th Ave. N; all floats will be off of Mercer by 5:15 PM.  The run will begin staging in the eastbound lanes of Mercer at this time.  Westbound lanes will remain open at all times.

Broad St. between 5^th Ave. N. and Denny Way will also close at 4 PM for float staging.

At 5:45 PM,  SPD will close the  NB Lanes of 5^th Ave. N.  The run will start at 6 PM, and use the northbound lanes.  Northbound 5^th  will reopen at approximately 6:15 PM.

The finish line for the run will be on Harrison St. at Taylor Ave N.

The parade begins at 7:30 PM at Broad and 4^th Ave. N.
