We’re building a protected bike lane on each side of Martin Luther King Jr Way S between the Judkins Park and Mt Baker Link light rail stations (S Judkins St to Rainier Ave S). We want this design to work not just for people who love to bike, but also for everyone who live and work in the area.
On Tuesday we hosted an online drop-in session and launched a survey for the MLK Protected Bike Lane project. Thank you to all who joined! Fill out the design survey!
During the event, we engaged with more than 40 of you and received questions about:
- Design elements at the MLK Way and Rainier Ave S intersection
- Addressing safety concerns for pedestrians and bicyclists
- Connections to existing neighborhood amenities including parks, trails and greenways
- Changes to parking along MLK Way
If you were unable to attend, you can still participate in the survey through Tuesday, August 18. A list of all of the questions that participants submitted, along with our answers, will be available on our webpage soon.
