Join us this Saturday, October 2 at community events to celebrate the grand opening of the new John Lewis Memorial Bridge at Northgate and three new Link light rail stations!

  • #1: John Lewis Memorial Bridge at Northgate opening: You’re invited to celebrate opening of this new pedestrian and bicycle bridge over I-5. Our event runs from 10 a.m. to noon at the North Seattle College North Lot. Event details are available on our website.
  • #2: Three new Sound Transit Link light rail stations opening: Sound Transit is celebrating opening three brand new Link light rail stations! Check out Sound Transit’s virtual celebration website that includes interesting details and fun facts about each new station.
  • #3: Community event in the Roosevelt neighborhood: The Roosevelt Neighborhood Association is hosting a local celebration at the new Roosevelt light rail station with live music, dancing, food trucks, coffee, local speakers, and self-guided tours of the new station. The public event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be located at 12th Ave NE and NE 66th St.

Per the Governor’s mandate, masks are required at all large-scale outdoor events, regardless of vaccination status. In addition, masks continue to be required on all public transit services, including Link light rail and buses. Thank you for your cooperation and ongoing efforts to keep everyone safe and healthy.

#1: John Lewis Memorial Bridge at Northgate opening
