- Northbound I-5 weekend-long lane closures June 20-23: The two left lanes of northbound I-5 near the Ship Canal Bridge will be closed 24 hours a day from 10 p.m. Friday, June 20, to 5 a.m. Monday, June 23, for construction. This is part of the Revive I-5 project. Learn more from WSDOT.
- 1 Line (light rail) service will be disrupted between Capitol Hill and SODO stations on June 21 and 22. Learn more from Sound Transit.

SDOT construction, street closures, and travel impacts

Denny Way Paving Project night work
- Travelers will encounter lane closures and sidewalk work along Denny Way between Westlake Ave N and Fairview Ave N.
- Additional details about upcoming work are available on the project web page.
Construction in U District, Eastlake, and South Lake Union (RapidRide J Line Project)
- We have reopened a single travel lane in both directions on Eastlake Ave E between Harvard Ave E and E Allison St. At the same time, we have closed E Allison St between Eastlake Ave E and Harvard Ave E to install a new water main.

Construction in Fremont (Route 40 Project)
- Construction on Fremont Ave N, between N 34th St and N 35th St, will resume as early as Thursday, June 12. This project involves replacing a 100-year-old waterline beneath Fremont Ave N. Completing the water main upgrades and the street upgrades at the same time will help reduce impacts to the community by coordinating major construction projects.
- Construction will pause for the weekend of June 21 –22 for the the Solstice Parade and the Fremont Fair. We invite neighbors to check-out the weekend festivities in Fremont if available.

Aurora Ave N (SR 99) 24/7 bus lane now in effect
- To help manage extra traffic on Aurora Ave N expected during upcoming Revive I-5 construction, SDOT and King County Metro have made changes to existing bus lanes on Aurora Ave N.
- The existing bus lanes will now be in effect at all times, instead of only during peak hours.

If you’re riding light rail, get off at Stadium Station stop and walk a short two blocks over. If taking rideshare, there’s a designated rideshare lot southeast of the ballpark. If driving, the Mariners Garage opens three hours before game time.
Biking, scooting, walking, or rolling to the game may also be great options, depending on your trip. Find more information on navigating to T-Mobile Park here.
