Excitement is building as Seattle prepares to celebrate Pride 2025! With festivities in full swing, navigating the city will require some planning due to street closures and transit changes. Whether you’re joining the celebration or traveling nearby, here’s what you need to know.

Pride Parade Street Closures

The Seattle Pride Parade takes place on Sunday, June 29, starting at 11 AM. To ensure a safe and successful event, several streets will be closed to vehicles:

  • 4th Ave from S Washington St to Seattle Center
  • Includes east-west cross streets along the parade route.
  • 4th Ave N, from Broad St to Denny Way, will close for staging starting Saturday, June 28, at Noon and remain closed until the parade ends Sunday afternoon.
  • After the Pride Parade, the Seattle PrideFest is expected to draw a large crowd to Seattle Center.

Expect delays, detours, and limited local access. Thanks for your patience while traveling, and participation if you plan to attend the event.

Capitol Hill Festivities

Capitol Hill will host block parties and Pride celebrations throughout the weekend. Expect additional street closures in this area starting Friday, June 27. Expect some delays and detours, especially along the Pike/Pine corridor.

Getting Around

To reduce stress and enjoy the vibrant Pride energy, we suggest using alternative transportation:

  • Public transit: Light rail, buses, the Seattle Center Monorail, and the Seattle Streetcar are all great options.
  • Sounder trains will be running special event service on Sunday. Learn more
  • Biking or walking: Convenient and hassle-free ways to immerse yourself in the festivities.

Check with transit agencies for real-time updates on detours and reroutes.
