The Seattle Times submitted a number of reader questions about transportation related work around the city. Reader comment: “For weeks the crew was replacing the sidewalk and street. Now all four corners are marked for ramp access.”
The markings for the curb ramps were placed there to ensure that the sidewalk being built would fit with any potential future curb ramp plans. This is an example of SDOT planning for potential future work. There has been no rework at this location.
