
Seattle Summer Streets are back and going strong this weekend! Come on out and have a picnic in the street…play scrabble…teach your kid to ride their bike…have fun! This weekend Summer Streets parties take place in Ballard (Friday) and on Alki (Sunday).
For the Alki celebration enjoy Coastal Boutique’s Surf machine and Root Beer Float stand; Children’s Hospital’s kid’s obstacle course; skateboarding demos; and whatever friends and neighbors dream up – street games, hula hooping, showing off your dog…or, letting G’Day dog watch your pup while you enjoy Duke’s outside dining!

- Cascade Bicycle Club’s Bike to Work Day & Summer Streets Party – Bergen Place Park and 22nd Avenue NW, between Market Street and Ballard Avenue – Friday, May 21, 4 to 7 p.m.
- West Seattle High School PTSA’s 5K Run/Walk & Seattle Summer Streets Party – Alki Avenue SW from California Way SW to 63rd Avenue SW – Sunday, May 23, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
