Next Monday three of five SDOT Arterial Spot Rehabilitation projects kick off, adding to an already full paving docket. The very bumpy and cracked 10th Avenue E, from E Boston Street to E Miller Street, is one of the projects starting July 26th. It will get fully reconstructed, including sidewalk and driveway repairs, and should be complete by the end of the year (weekend work included!). A fan of Hydroplanes? Not to worry. Construction on this project is on hold the week endof August 7th and the following week to allow for the ever popular Hydroplane Races.

The other two of three spot rehab projects starting construction July 26th are Nickerson Street from Etruria Street to Dexter Avenue North (expected to be complete the end of August), and 16th Avenue SW from SW Brandon Street to SW Dawson Street (expected to be complete by the end of September).
