Learn about the Elliott Bay Seawall Project Draft EIS, Provide Your Input

The Seattle Department of Transportation has released a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Elliott Bay Seawall Project. As you may be aware, the seawall that supports Seattle’s waterfront was built between 1911 and 1936 and has deteriorated significantly since its construction. The Draft EIS provides detailed information about project effects during and after construction. Comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted through December 13, 2012.

SDOT is hosting a Public Open House on December 5, including a brief presentation. We invite you to participate and learn more about the project purpose and need, replacement alternatives and impacts.
