The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Seattle Section presented the Local Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement (LOCEA) Awards on June 12; these awards recognize “projects that have improved the quality of life and contributed to the economic development of the local community, area or region.” King Street Station captured top honors in the geotechnical category.
The project team includes Hart Crowser, ZGF Architects, Shiels Obletz Johnsen, Arup, KPFF, Coughlin Porter Lundeen and the Seattle Department of Transportation.
