SDOT, the Port of Seattle, West Seattle Bike Connections, BNSF, Ballard Oil, the Cascade Bicycle Club, and others have joined forces for a Bike & Truck Safety Fair on September 6th. Bike riders, truckers, and anyone interested in safe streets is encouraged to attend.
The event will feature bike-truck blind spot simulations, truck ride-alongs, safety information and giveaways, and free continental breakfast. The goal is to foster safe biking and driving practices on our streets and raise awareness of the challenges that both bikers and truckers face daily.
Join us on Friday, September 6th from 6:30 am to 8:30 am at Port of Seattle Terminal 25 (3225 East Marginal Way, Seattle).
