New and colorful signs are popping up along trails throughout Seattle with simple safety messages for pedestrians and bikers. The signs and text reflect the top complaints SDOT receives about trail safety and etiquette from the public. You’ll find these signs posted along our city’s multi-use facilities like the Burke-Gilman Trail, the Chief Sealth Trail and the Alki Trail.
The signs are part of Road Safety Action Plan implementation and BE Super Safe campaign. For more information about the Be Super Safe campaign please visit our website.
