Folks living or working in South Lake Union, Lower Queen Anne, and the Denny Triangle know that this area is experiencing unprecedented growth. Cranes dot the skyline where new buildings are going up and the buzz of heavy equipment can be heard for many hours every day.
Even without this growth, navigating our busy streets can be challenging no matter how you get around. Join SDOT and our community partners on Thursday, September 12th for a transportation safety forum with information specific to the Greater South Lake Union area. Hear about the key issues causing crashes on the streets in this neighborhood, learn about the locations where collisions frequently occur, and find out how you can Be Super Safe!
Thursday’s forum will mark the first test of SDOT’s neighborhood road safety outreach effort, an important element of our Road Safety Action Plan, and we need your feedback before taking this information to other neighborhoods in the city. This will be an interactive affair with the audience providing feedback and responding to questions throughout the evening. We hope to see you soon!
