On November 11, 1919 President Wilson declared the day the first commemoration of Armistice Day which eventually became known as Veteran’s Day. Today city offices are closed for as we join the nation in proclaiming our thanks and gratitude to our country’s veterans. We will resume our normal blogging schedule tomorrow.
