Have thoughts about how Pike St could look and feel? Maybe you’ve got some ideas about what could happen in the street to make it better to move, hang out, and interact.
- June 14th, 5:00pm-7:00pm (program starts at 5:30)
At the old Value Village (V2 Events 1525 11th Ave)
From our pilot in August 2015, we learned a great deal about how the Pike Street area functions and what works for managing pedestrian activity and mobility. Now we need to fine tune use of the street space to integrate businesses and residences directly into activating the street. This could be through sidewalk dining, public performances, or other activities. Any future pedestrian pilot will only be successful if it’s made by and for those invested in the neighborhood.
This is where you come in: we need your ideas!
If you have any questions or concerns before the workshop, feel free to contact Seth Geiser at seth.geiser@seattle.gov.
