Emerald City Comic Con: The Pacific Northwest’s comic and pop culture show. At the Washington State Convention Center. 8th Ave, Pike to Seneca, and 7th Ave, Pike to Union, will be closed from approximately 7 AM to 3 PM for queuing. Show hours: 10 AM – 8 PM/Thursday – Saturday, and 10 AM – 5 PM/Sunday. Estimated attendance: 20k per day.

Show hours: 10 AM – 8 PM/Thursday – Saturday, and 10 AM – 5 PM/Sunday. Estimated attendance: 20k per day.

 

Green Stripe Laying on 4th Avenue: This is a mini-parade to mark the route of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade down the center of 4th Ave, starting from 4th Ave & Jefferson St at 7 PM. Event hours: 7 – 8 PM. Estimated attendance: 70.

Irish Festival: The weekend Festival is held at the Seattle Center’s Armory, with booths selling Irish and Celtic products, Irish food and libations, Irish music, singing, dancing, the Irish Reels Film Festival, workshops, lectures, cultural displays, an Irish art exhibit, children’s contest, and activities. Festival hours: 12 – 6PM Saturday, 10 AM – 6 PM Sunday. Estimated attendance: 3k per day.

 

St. Patrick’s Day Parade: 48th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade starts at 12:30 PM at 4th & James. The parade will travel north on 4th to Westlake Park. Event hours: 12:30 – 3PM. Estimated attendance: 3,500.

 

Monster Jam: At CenturyLink Field. Pits open 1:30PM – 5:30PM. Main event 7PM – 11PM. Estimated attendance: 35,000.

St. Patrick’s Day Dash: 35th annual run starts and finishes at the Seattle Center. 1K dash for kids starts at 8AM. First of 3 waves for the 5K starts at 8:30AM. The route will use streets in South Lake Union, Belltown, and Downtown. Event hours: 8AM – 12PM. Estimated attendance: 6.000.
