After two years of construction, we are thrilled to be wrapping up improvements around Green Lake and Wallingford. This was possible with your tax dollars through the Levy to Move Seattle!

Paving is complete, new traffic signals/flashing beacons are activated, new bus stops are in place, and hundreds of ADA curb ramps are installed. You can now walk, bike, and roll through the new signalized intersections, protected and unprotected bike lanes, and pedestrian signals around E Green Lake Way N, Green Lake Dr N, N 80th St, N 50th St and N 40th St. Read more in our recent blog.

Starting this Saturday, July 31, we are holding weeklong events to get you outside, moving, and exploring the new roadway improvements.

The celebration begins with an Inaugural Bike Ride on Saturday, July 31! We will start at 10:30 AM in the Flamingo parking lot of the Woodland Park Zoo, located at the corner of N 50th St and Phinney Ave N.

THANK YOU!

While we have some final repairs and smaller improvements still underway, we also thank the Green Lake and Wallingford communities for your patience, understanding, and collaboration throughout the construction process.
