February is here and we’re excited to celebrate Black History Month with you. Join us as we share stories and features that are dedicated to honoring historical and current achievements while progressing toward a future of inclusivity, justice, and equity in Seattle and beyond.
Throughout this month, we’ll be showcasing a series of events focused on Black History. Keep an eye on our Blog for special Roadside Chat features, which spotlight stories from our Black colleagues. We’ll also take a closer look at several internal working groups at SDOT, such as the Black Employees Support Team (BEST), the Race and Social Justice Initiative (RSJI) Change Team, and the Office of Equity and Economic Inclusion (OEEI).
