Have you heard? It’s a Hot Bike Summer in Seattle! We’re marking the opening of new routes with ribbon cuttings, bike rides, and community festivities. These events highlight Seattle’s growing bike network – especially new connections in South Seattle – and give everyone a chance to try them out.
And to make it even more fun, grab your personal Hot Bike Summer Passport! Collect decals at each event and ride your way toward a chance to win an exciting prize at the season’s final event.
What’s a Hot Bike Summer Passport?
Seattle’s Hot Bike Summer Passport is your ticket to exploring the city’s newest bike connections as they’re completed. This fun and free passport helps promote a safer, more sustainable, and more equitable transportation system – all while encouraging you to explore new bike projects across the city.

Each passport includes space for decals from each of our events taking place this summer, a series of major milestones for our city’s ever-expanding bike network.
How’s It Work?
- Grab your Hot Bike Summer passport at any of these events – or download and print your own to get started.
- Remember to bring your passport to each event you attend.
- Collect a decal at every event – attend the celebration and ride the new bike lanes!
- Attend at least 3 festivities to qualify for a prize (while supplies last). The first 10 people who collect 3 decals will receive a $25 BikeLink card – good for secure bike parking at BikeLink lockers across the region.
