Crews set utility poles on Fariview Avenue North.
This week, crews focused on concrete pavement installation on Fairview Avenue N between Valley Street and Mercer Street and electrical work near the intersection of Fairview Avenue N and Valley Street.
Activities this week included:
- Began concrete pavement installation on Fairview Avenue N between Valley Street and Mercer Street in preparation for rebuilding the roadway.
- Began signal installation at intersection of Fairview Avenue N and Valley Street.
- Continued Seattle City Light electrical duct bank work on Fairview Avenue N between Mercer Street and Valley Street.
- Continued conduit and handhole installation for future street lights on west sides of Fairview Avenue N between Mercer Street and Harrison Street.
- Continued cast in place wall installation on the north side of the I-5 off-ramps.
Traffic engineers will continue to:
- Monitor traffic flow on Mercer Street.
- Monitor traffic flow at the Dexter Avenue N and Mercer Street intersection.
- Prepare for the full opening of Fairview Avenue N.
