Hey Seattle! We’ve been busy installing new sidewalks on NE 110th St between Sand Point Way and 34th Ave NE and are now completing the final phase of the project. This upcoming work at the intersection of NE 110th and 35th NE requires some travel restrictions and closures. The work will last about three weeks and involves different phases.
To keep it simple, here’s the two things you need to know:
- Preliminary work will begin on Tuesday November 5. That work will lead to some beautiful new curve ramps. During this time, Eastbound lanes will be closed but North and South lanes will not be impacted (for the most part, but see #2 for the exception). This will be the case for about three weeks.
- The central part of this project will happen during Veteran’s Day weekend. During this time, there will be a full intersection closure.
Veteran’s Day Weekend Details
This work is being done in order to install a new drainage structure at the SE corner of the intersection to alleviate ponding of water.
Schedule: Nov. 9-11. 7 AM – 7 PM
Please be prepared for noise impacts from 9 AM to 5 PM on the listed days.
Transit routes will not be affected. Buses will be flagged through the intersection, both north and southbound. There will be one lane of travel open for northbound vehicles. Southbound travel is restricted to transit only.
These projects are part of the North Seattle Sidewalks project which includes a series of 8 new sidewalks that are being installed in north Seattle. We thank you for your patience.
