We’ve launched an exciting new promotion to connect your Lime bike and scooter share trips with public transit and earn enough rewards to cover your next transit ride!

This rewards program is funded by the voter-approved Seattle Transit Measure, in close partnership with King County Metro, Sound Transit, and Lime. Read more below or visit this web page to get started.

What’s included

  • Available at over a dozen Link stations: Ride Lime bike or scooter share and end your trip at any of these 14 Seattle Link light rail stations to earn a transit ride: Northgate, Roosevelt, U-District, University of Washington, Capitol Hill, Pioneer Square, International District/Chinatown, Stadium, SODO, Beacon Hill, Mount Baker, Columbia City, Othello, and Rainier Beach.
  • Rewards as you go: You’ll earn enough points to cover your transit trip by parking a Lime bike or scooter in preferred parking spots near the light rail stations listed above and taking your next transit ride within 24 hours. The rewards are designed to make your trips more convenient, affordable, and sustainable.
  • More designated parking spots: We’ve recently added more parking spots for bikes and scooters at these stations, making it easier for you to transition from scooter or bike share to transit. These preferred parking spots help keep the stations and nearby sidewalks accessible and obstacle-free, while making it easy to complete your transfer.

How it works

You can find more details about the rewards program and how to participate on this web page. Here’s a quick summary.

  • Connect your accounts: After downloading the Lime and Transit GO Ticketing apps, sign up for “Rewards” and connect your Lime account. When you connect, you’ll instantly earn 300 points, enough for a transit ticket, ensuring you can quickly start using rewards for your combined trips.
  • Take a qualifying trip: Each time you ride a Lime scooter or Lime bike and end your ride at one of the preferred parking spots at the 14 Link light rail stations listed above (map), you’ll automatically earn enough points to transfer onto Link light rail service, the bus, or other nearby transit options. Activate your transit ticket within 24 hours of ending your eligible Lime trip and enjoy the ride!
  • Participate in surveys: After completing a qualifying trip, you will be invited to take a short survey about your experience. This feedback helps us improve the program and tailor it to your needs. Plus, you’ll earn 300 more points for participating.

Why participate

This promotion is more than just a way to encourage you to earn rewards and take transit. By participating, you can help reduce traffic congestion, improve our air quality, and make it easier for everyone to get around.
