LEVY DOLLARS AT WORK | We’re partnering with Washington State to reduce speed limits on state routes in Seattle & reach shared goals of ending traffic deaths and serious injuries

We’ve finished lowering speed limits on most streets in Seattle, but our work doesn’t stop here. We continue to improve the safety of our streets to prevent collisions & save lives.

Summary: We completed our work to lower speed limits to 25 mph on most major streets in Seattle & installed nearly 2,500 new speed limit signs! Case studies conducted in five Seattle neighborhoods help us understand the impact of these changes.
