Summary
- The Seattle Transportation Plan (STP) is our commitment to building a transportation system that provides everyone with access to safe, efficient, and affordable options to reach places and opportunities. We need your help to create this plan.
- Together, we are reimagining how we move around the city and enjoy our streets and public spaces.
- We listened to what you shared with us during our first phase of engagement and started planning. Tell us if we are on the right track and share your input on the Online Engagement Hub.
- We have added more ways for you to help create the STP with us:
- Review the STP vision, goals, and objectives
- Share what future of transportation you want to see
- Tell us what actions you like and how they can become part of our transportation system
- The Office of Community Planning and Development (OPCD) is also asking for your help to create the Seattle Comprehensive Plan Update – the One Seattle Plan. Visit OPCD’s One Seattle Plan Engagement Hub to learn more and share your input to guide Seattle’s big-picture future.
We will build a transportation system that works better for everyone now and in the future.

The Office of Community Planning and Development (OPCD) is also asking for your input on the Seattle Comprehensive Plan Update – the One Seattle Plan.
The One Seattle Plan will explore new ideas for how Seattle can be more equitable, affordable, and climate resilient. Some of the ideas OPCD is looking at include:
- Creating new urban centers or villages—places with shops and more housing for multiple people or families (like apartments or townhouses) in places as around future light rail stations
- Supporting more complete neighborhoods across the city that will provide more residents shopping, services, and transit within walking-distance
- Supporting strategies that allow for greater variety of housing options in more neighborhoods to increase access to parks and schools as well as more affordable family-size homes and homeownership opportunities
- Developing new tools to support communities facing displacement pressures and ensure that access to homes and jobs is more racially and economically inclusive
- Visit OPCD’s One Seattle Plan Engagement Hub to learn more and share your input to guide Seattle’s big-picture future.
